Apple has begun sending invites to the press for a special event to be held on March 2nd in San Francisco where the company will likely announce the iPad 2.
The event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at 10:00 am. This is the same venue for all the recent Apple product launches in the past.
The iPad 2 would be thinner, lighter, integrated with two cameras – the primary camera for photo & video capabilities as well as a secondary camera for FaceTime. It was also rumored to come with an improved speaker, an anti-glare display, and the new Thunderbolt port as reported in the yet to be released MacBook Pro.
