How to remove / deauthorize device (Mac, iPhone, iPad or iPod touch) from iTunes? Well, when you buy new PC or install fresh copy of operating system on your PC, you begin authorizing your devices with iTunes. But as most of you know that Apple only allows us to authorize only 5 devices. Sometimes you find that you have reached the 5-deivces limit, and couldn’t authorize your new iPhone or iPad, so let me show you how to deauthorize or remove a device from your account.
Step 1: Open iTunes, go to Store > Sign in , then enter your Apple ID and Password.
Step 2: Go to Store > View My Apple ID and enter your password again
Step 3: After that you will see your account details and the name of authorized devices. (You can click “Deauthorize All” to remove all authorized devices)
You can also see the authorized devices which able to download and buy applications, you will find it under “iTunes in the Cloud” > Manage Devices
Step 3: You will find a list of the the linked devices with your iTunes account on a list like the below screenshot. You can easily click “Remove” button to remove any of these devices.
