The second in a series of five Back to the Future
games for the iPad has now hit the App Store. This touch-based puzzle adventure from Telltale Games delivers a mesmerising experience that remains true to the original trilogy, with innovative touch controls and impressive visuals. This episode is called “Get Tannen,” and sees Marty and Doc attempt to prevent gang boss Kid Tannen from wreaking havoc on Marty’s family and erasing his girlfriend from the future!
It may not be a new game strictly speaking, but Real Racing 2
for the iPad just got an update that makes it an essential purchase for any iOS gamer. It now boasts dual-screen gaming, so when hooked up to a HDTV users can enjoy their race in 1080p on the big screen, while their iPad displays an alternative image from the game – such as a map of the circuit – simultaneously. The iPad continues to act as a controller so you can control the car on your TV using the iPad’s gyroscope controls. It’s a fantastic feature that takes iOS gaming to a whole new level, and we can’t wait for other developers to implement this feature into other games.
First released in 1990, this classic has been available on the iPhone
since late March, but now it’s also available on the iPad – with new and improved visuals and story sequences exclusive to the large screen device. Featuring smooth, intuitive touchscreen controls and a user interface optimized for the iPad. Final Fantasy III
is dubbed to be the hallmark for the entire series, from the job system that enables characters to change classes at any time, to the ability to summon powerful creations such as Shiva and Bahamut.
What better way to celebrate the Easter weekend than with a bunny who must fend off wave after wave of marauding zombies armed with nothing but Easter eggs. Defend the children and attempt to save Easter by throwing the deadly eggs at the heads of the undead and try to keep the relentless crowd out of your front yard in Bunny the Zombie Slayer.
Featuring beautiful visuals and addictive gameplay, killing zombies has never been so much fun.
EA’s incredibly popular 2-on-2 basketball game has finally hit the iPad, with 30 NBA teams and your favorite NBA stars; unlockable legends from the classic arcade era including Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Scott Skiles, and more; and classic commentary from the original NBA Jam
announcer, Tim Kitzrow. There are two game modes to choose from including ‘Play Now’, in which you pick a team and jump straight in to the action, and ‘Classic Campaign’, in which you defeat all other teams to win the championship, unlock legends, hidden players, and combo cheats. There’s also local mutiplayer for jamming with a friend. If you enjoyed this game on the iPhone, you’ll love it on the iPad.
